I grew up in a small East Texas town where down-home values were everything. Life was simple, family was close-knit, and hard work was the norm. As the only girl with three rowdy brothers, I learned early how to hold my own and stay grounded. Those roots taught me resilience, community, and the importance of having a place to call home.
After graduating from junior college and UT Austin, I struggled to find a career that truly lit me up. And then life took an unexpected turn. A major car accident left me in a coma and hospitalized for three months. I had to relearn how to walk, talk, and even breathe. That experience changed everything—it taught me that life is fragile, and home is where healing and hope begin. Later, I wrote a children’s book, which I’m proud of, but still struggled to find a career that truly lit me up.
Years later, I was working a job I didn’t love when, as luck would have it, I got laid off. One day, I called a college friend to go walking with me to look at homes in River Oaks, a beautiful Houston neighborhood. It was my favorite pastime. She couldn’t join because her firm’s showing agent had quit. Curious, I asked, “What does a showing agent do?” When she explained, I said, “Get me an interview.” She did, and the broker hired me on the spot! From that moment, I knew I had found my calling. Real estate combined everything I loved: beautiful homes, helping people, and creating stability in times of change.
Today, I help busy professionals in Houston move seamlessly through every stage of real estate—buying, selling, and leasing—using my NextNest System. My mission is simple: to guide you through life’s transitions with confidence and care, so you can focus on what matters most—building the life you love.
